Missing child found

Shortly after 9.00 this morning it was announced that 18 month  old Daniel had been found and was apparently in good health. First reports suggest that he was discovered by his godparents who live near the family home – they had been alerted by his cries.

The situation with the missing eighteen-month old child in Calheta (see previous story) seems about as clear as mud this morning. The Diario website still carries the story that the family of little Daniel, missing since Sunday afternoon, believe that the boy has been kidnapped.
