These are becoming a pain around our villa. Is there any way we can deter these? We have had to put up guttering to stop all the shite coming off the roofs and now the pigeons are nesting in the gutters. I don't believe we can cull them, but maybe some other method. I would love to hire a hawk for a few days. 🙂
The most prolific bird on the planet with only two places where they are not found -- the Arctic and Antarctica!
A hawk would be a deterrent but just as likely to fly off anywhere. A double-barrelled 12 bore is effective but not allowed in built up areas.
