A German man, aged approximately 70, was found dead inside his home in the municipality of Ponta do Sol.
Authorities had to force open the front door to gain access to the premises and reach the victim’s body.
The body bore a deep wound on one wrist, and a bladed weapon was found nearby. Despite the scene, no evidence of foul play was detected.
The Judicial Police have taken charge of the case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
