The Santa Cruz Fire Department responded moments ago to a fire in the Cancela area.
As shown in a photograph sent to JM by a reader, a palm tree can be seen burning.
On the ground, part of what appears to be a residential green area is also burning.
The cause of the incident is currently unknown.
