JM reports that Sevenair wants to take over the air operation that connects Porto Santo and Madeira again. Alexandre Alves, commercial director of the group that has already secured the route through the company Aero Vip, assures JM that they are already finalizing an application for the public tender for the concession of the connection. The winner will be announced next month and will have the right to operate the line for three years.

Sevenair describe themselves Sevenair Group as the largest general aviation group in Portugal with over 30 years of aeronautical experience. “Beyond transporting passengers across Portugal, our academy is a reference for aspiring pilots, cabin crew, flight dispatchers and maintenance technicians. We also provide technical maintenance services and aircraft brokerage services”.

Varino Investimentos Imobiliários, Lda. is a private limited company, founded in 2016, and is held by two construction companies that are well established in Madeira, AFA SGPS, S.A. and Socicorreia II Investimentos Imobiliários, S.A.

Varino is currently developing several residential developments, with integrated commercial spaces, in mainland Portugal and Madeira island. The brand already has 6 projects, 5 of them in Lisbon, with Dubai Madeira being their first project in Madeira.
