Madeira nominated for best cruise destination in Europe
For the first time, the organization WTA nominated Madeira for the distinction as the best cruise destination in Europe. MedCruise reports that “In 2021, the Ports of Madeira took on a new positioning and Funchal regained the national lead for port of call”
Madeira is nominated for the ‘World Cruise Awards’, in the category of Best Europe’s Cruise Destination 2022, which happens for the first time – a link to the voting is below. The autonomous region is competing with other leading cruise destinations such us Athens, Barcelona, Croatia, Kotor (Montenegro), Lisbon, London, Monaco, Nice Costa D’Azur, Oslo and Rome.
