383,000 vaccines now administered in Madeira
JM reports that up to 3 October, 383,103 vaccines against COVID-19 had been administered in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, since December 31, 2020.
Vaccinated people are part of the priority groups defined in the Regional Vaccination Plan against COVID-19 in RAM, according to the allocation of vaccines to the Region.
According to information provided by the Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection, of the total number of vaccines administered in RAM (383,103), 201,886 correspond to the administration of the first dose and 202,098 doses to full vaccination.
According to the data, collected on October 3rd, through the National Platform for Registration and Management of Vaccines (VACINAS), 82% of the resident population has already completed vaccination and 83% has started vaccination. However, it is important to emphasize that the Autonomous Region of Madeira is awaiting the validation of the records of the vaccines carried out on users recovered from covid-19 (5762).
The tutelage states, in a statement, that this validation by the Shared Services of the Ministry of Health is crucial for attributing the real rate of complete vaccination registered in the Region to date.
