Madeira/Canary Islands connections strengthened

Binter increase flights from November

Binter, increasing connections to the Canary Islands

The Madeira News website, with its automated news feed incorporating Google translate, has picked up a report that airline Binter will increase its connections between Madeira and the Canary Islands from the month of November, with the re-establishment of flights to the island of Tenerife and maintain its connections with Gran Canaria, to offer eight weekly flights from Madeira to the Canary Islands.

The airline has taken this decision to actively contribute to the restoration of connectivity in both territories.

From November 2nd, Madeira will be connected to the Canaries via the island of Tenerife, every Tuesday and Saturday. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, a flight will depart Madeira airport at 2:00 pm, and land at Tenerife Norte Airport – La Laguna City at 15:20:00 pm. The flight in the opposite direction will depart at 4.05 pm and land at 5.25 pm.

The airline will maintain the two flights it currently operates between the island of Gran Canaria and Funchal, every Thursday and Sunday. On Thursdays, departure from Madeira airport will be at 12.30 pm, and will land in Gran Canaria at 2.00 pm. Return will be at 2.45 pm, arriving at 4.15 pm. On Sundays, a plane will depart the Portuguese archipelago at 1:45 pm, arriving at 3:15 pm. The flight in the opposite direction will depart at 16.00, landing in Madeira at 17.30.

Tickets can be purchased through the company’s usual sales channels: www.binter.pt, by phone calling 291 290 129 and or through travel agencies, where you can check the conditions and prices.
