JM reports that after a month off for its mandatory annual maintenance in Viana do Castelo, Lobo Marinho is back in Porto do Funchal.

It arrived at around 10:00 am (with a celebratory “blast” on its horn) from the continent, from where it left this Wednesday, with 28 crew members on board that will be tested for COVID-19 later this afternoon.

The crew of the Lobo Marinho are required to carry out prophylactic isolation inside this vessel until they know the result of the second test, which should be carried out between the 17th and 19th of February, as indicated by the health authorities.

A “Buy me a Beer” link has been added to the sidebar on the right of the blog. Any contributions are welcome, as the overheads are now such that the website is nowhere near covering its costs with all the additional expense involved after the recent attacks!
