New pedestrian access in Levada do Norte
JM report that new work has provided new pedestrian access to Levada do Norte, which will be opened tomorrow Friday, at 4:00 pm, in an official act that will take place next to the irrigation tank of Garachico, in Ladeira do Pedregal.
Access was possible thanks to the transfer of land by the company Águas e Residuos da Madeira (ARM), thus allowing a better circulation of people (including people with motor disabilities).
The initiative will be attended by the Regional Secretary for the Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change, Susana Prada, the Mayor of Câmara de Lobos, Pedro Coelho, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company ARM, Amílcar Gonçalves, among others entities.
