JM report that a new mobility plan is one of the recommendations of the Regional Government within the scope of the Economic Recovery Plan of Portugal

The Region is suggesting a model that guarantees mobility between the islands and the continent at reasonable prices and that is valid for the transportation of people and goods.

The newspaper also comments on the “new” Flower Festival, which it describes as noteworthy, but observes that it disguises the absence of tourists in the region. “The charm is the same, the color too” but the hotels are only at 30% occupancy.

The Regional Government welcomes the UK decision to give the go-ahead for visits by tourists and emigrants.
