“Portugal Cool” records 25 Fontes on video
The Diario reports that Eduardo Varanda is a photographer with popular sites on Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube. His Facebook page has currently over one million followers.
He recently visited Madeira and his video of the Levada das 25 Fontes, published on Facebook yesterday afternoon, already has more than 2,000 views and 939 shares according to the Diario.
Probably a good time to undertake this walk at the moment, with tourist numbers as low as they have been for a long time – it is correctly described as the M25 of levada walks! – rather appropriate numbering, although in the case of the Levada das 25 Fontes the digits refer to the number of springs that feed the stunning “pond” at the head of the levada.
