We still don’t know how serious it is, but everything is being done to provide help. The other young people are doing well”. Guerreiro also revealed that “young people will have to leave that place by the sea, as it is impossible to rescue them by land”.

The four boys were confined to a beach area of ​​Porto da Cruz, one of them injured after a fall when trying to return to the starting point. The seawater had risen and prevented them from returning on the path they had used to get there. Their ages and the reason they were there are unknown.
