In an interview yesterday evening with RTP-1, the Prime Minister clarified that the lack of a mask will be punished with a fine only in these circumstances.

Among the various measures announced today by António Costa contemplated as part of the transition from a state of emergency to a state of calamity, the mandatory use of the mask in public transport is one of them.

In line with this, in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, President Miguel Albuquerque, announced early yesterday afternoon, that masks will be mandatory for passengers on buses on the island. However, as reported here, not everybody will receive theirs until the middle of this month

  1. Agree 100%, but surely supermarkets should also be compulsory or any venue dispensing food such as Mercado dos Lavradores. People sneezing, laughing, touching food items. What could be worse??😤🤮🤒🤧😷😷😷😷
