Test results should be known today
JM believes that in addition to a woman recently transferred from the hospice at Marmeleiros in Monte to the main Nélio Mendonça hospital in Funchal, there are two more suspected cases in isolation at a special unit awaiting analysis.
The newspaper learned from a source close to the health authorities that in all three cases the suspects are in isolation and the result of the analyses should only be known during the course of today, Thursday.
Yesterday afternoon a woman was transferred from the Marmeleiros hospital to Nélio Mendonça with suspected coronavirus. However, in addition to this case, two others were registered and awaiting conditions of isolation in a private unit, as mandated by the rules that are being followed by the regional health authorities.
