Model of new Funchal hospitalOn the 30th of October, during the debate on the Government Program in the Assembly of the Republic, the Portuguese Prime Minister gave his support to the construction of five new hospitals in the country, including Funchal.

Responding to newcomer André Ventura, from the CHEGA party, on Health Commitments, António Costa said that, in terms of hospital units, the objective is “to achieve by the end of this legislature the five major hospitals that are being launched: the Oriental de Lisbon, Alentejo Central, Sintra Central, Seixal Central, and I also hope, Funchal’s new hospital”.
