… as the Jetstream arrives as predicted
As Jaime predicted on this blog a week ago it looks like tomorrow’s weather in Madeira will be affected by the strengthening Jetstream winds coming all the way across the Atlantic (below). The predictions are remarkably accurate, as the situation looks very similar to the one for tomorrow predicted last Thursday.
The BBC’s forecast for Funchal is to the left, showing rain arriving in the morning, whilst the Portuguese Weather Institutes is below, showing it arriving at a similar time! Worth checking nearer the time, as both forecasts will be more accurate later. Sure lots of other websites will carry the story as well.
At the moment both websites show an unusually high probability of rain, although both show it clearing for lunchtime. Windy.com shows the wind at its strongest early morning.
