  1. I love the first video of the paragliding. I’ve seen them over Funchal so many times and each time I think rather you than me… but with a passion expressed so eloquently and those views of the city and the cliffs… well, I still won’t, but I understand it much more!

  2. Well said Becky, a truly superb video with an emotional and inspiring commentary.
Clever stuff, well done and very tempting …….. a first class effort for Madeira, it’s peoples, skills and beauty(s)! Well done – take note Tourist Board.

Funchal open air Christmas fruit n’veg market fully open in the street alongside the Mercado and doing a thriving trade already – superb atmosphere with great produce and polite friendly service …. Feliz Natal.

  3. After such an inspirational video, upsetting to hear that a Czech paraglider is still not found off the coast of Porto Moniz. Two of his colleagues landed safely, but they are still searching for him (which doesn’t bode well). Adds a rather eerie weight to the commentary by Decio Abreu.

  4. Thanks for the coments, I´m glad you enjoyed my video. As for the lost Czech pilot, we (madeiran paragliding comunity) are all very sad, this was an accident that was not supposed to happen. Paragliding is very safe, but only if you respect your limits and Natures limits as well.
