An open plan and modern studio in a traditional Quinta set in the sunny village of Ponta do Sol. The studio boasts fabulous views of the sea to the front, mountains to the rear and vineyards and banana plantations. It is a superb location for those who want a quiet, romantic or relaxing holiday but also is within a short distance to most amenities to cater for those who want a bit more 'life'! The apartment has everything you need for your stay, including satalite TV, large double bed, plus an extra person can sleep on the sofa bed at an extra €10 per night, a brand new Kitchenette, shower room, dining area and also outside dining from the view point. Staying at our traditional Quinta: We welcome all our guests and invite them to stay at our traditional 250 year old Quinta. The studio is at the far end of the property, has its own separate entrance and parking. The seated view point and garden terrace has been screened separately from the garden so that guests can enjoy their own privacy but are also welcome to share the garden as well. In our gardens, we have an assortment of fruit trees (Mango, Nespra, Peach, Guava, Banana, Avocado and Anonis) and encourage our guests to pick the fruits when in season. We are situated above the village boasting fantastic views of the village and ocean, have our own village shop, bar and restaurant with an easy two minute walk. There are plenty of walks and levadas in the area, banana plantations and vineyards.

Ponta do Sol is a popular village with the locals and tourists alike, due to it's pretty and ambient setting and of course fantastic weather (Ponta do Sol means Point of the sun)! It is has its own beach with 'safe' swimming area, loads of bars, restaurants and a couple of hotels. There is a small shopping centre, pizzaria, post office, chemist and quite a few banks so, all in all and for a quiet and small village we pretty much have everything! There are supermarkets in the neighbouring villages of Ribeira Brava and Calheta and the village is ideally located with in easy access of Funchal via the Rapida, Ribeira brava, Calheta, Sao Vicente, the mountains and the rest of the island in both directions.
