The apartment offer a comfy lounge with dining area, one double bedroom and full bathroom with all towels and linen provided, the kitchen is fully fitted and has all you need for your stay whether it be for a week or a month. the balcony has table and chairs for outside dining with sea views which look out to the Desertas Islands, and you can often see passing cruise ships as well as the Ferry which passes daily to our sister island of Porto Santo. Bring your binoculars as you can quite often see whales and dolphins swimming in the waters.

Canico de Baixo is situated on the South East Coast of Madeira. The Apartment is a 10 minute drive from the Airport and a 10 minute drive to the city centre of Funchal, there is also a bus stop a few minutes walk from apartment where you can pick up the bus to Funchal or Santa Cruz. The location of the Apartment offers uninterrupted views of the ocean in a very tranquil area. The Apartment is located on the 2nd floor with two lifts to all floors, and has its own secure parking. The Beach area of Reis Magos is a 10 minute walk from the apartment and a popular area for catching the sun and taking a refreshing swim, and a lot more peaceful than Funchal. Galo lido and dive centre is a 3 minute walk and offers bathing areas swimming pool and sea access along with a dive centre if your wanting to see the tropical marine life. The local area offers plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes, and some lovely hotels where you can enjoy a nights entertainment with traditional dance. The beach of Garajãu is only a 2 min drive of 30 minute walk from the apartment and offers some of the best bathing and clear waters in madeira, great for snorkling, and the statue of Cristo Rei towers above. Madeira is a haven for those seeking peace and quite, and is famous for its levada walks which really are a must if you want to see the real Madeira, and plenty of other activities nearby including Diving, Deep sea fishing, Stunning boat trips to see the dolphins and seals and of course Golf. Palhiro golf course is only 7km away, and Santo de Serra golf course (also known as campo de golf part of the PGA European Tour) is just 13km away and is Madeira's best and oldest course.
