Located in the middle of the mountains,it stands in the center of everything.From there, you can go either to a mountain walk or through one of our wonderful Levadas.All the north and easth part of the Island,can be reach from Santo da Serra,and in a minute you can be eigther in the up hill, like Pico do Areeiro,or in the other by the sea in one of our beaches.If you would prefer to reach a more distant place,like the natural pools of Porto Moniz,you can take the Via Rapida,and you will see how close it gets .Funchal,which is the capital of Madeira, can also be easily reached by Via Rapida,and it is where you can find shopping centers, cinemas,and everything that has to do with big cities.If you prefer a more quiet place, you must go to Caniçal, famous for it´s grilled fish and only a few minutes away from Santo da Serra. It is also recommended to visit the Natural Park in Santana,where you can spend the whole day. But remember Golf is just by the door, you don´t have to leave at all.
